Revised schedule for WWDC has been released. Keynote is 9am to 12pm. A whole three hours of Steve. There's going to be a lot of Leopard stuff, but we had better have some new mac computers too (grr, grumble, 8 core isn't an update, new macs, etc.). Santa Rosa chipset should be out by WWDC, right??

Link

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

That means nothing. Also, it was like that last year.

Last years Keynote was two hours long, but only lasted an hour and a half, so this is DOUBLE the length! Nice!

Just hand over the new iMac, Mr. Jobs, and nobody gets hurt.

I would hope a new iMac comes out by before then, at least.

Just don't glue yourself to the computer or it may also be the day of your divorce

I sure hope we don't have to wait until WWDC for a new iMac. The competition will have new machines out in May with Santa Rosa.

As for AAPL, I suspect many jumped in when it dropped below $90. I personally won't be buying until it hits lower, but that might just mean I've missed the boat. (I sold at $87 so I'm not complaining too much.)

He'll probably be sharing the stage with the usual Apple team heads.

Well, consider all the stuff that needs to be mentioned:
  • Leopard (+ hidden features)
  • iPhone (+ hopefully a way to write widgets for it)
  • New hardware (Santa Rosa at least, and I'm expecting bigger changes)
  • iWork '07
  • Probably one more thing…

That's what happens when you believe contorted articles on sites that publish "insider" stories for Adsense clicks. Apple Insider's articles are the worst of all.

Yeah, but it was blocked out as the entire morning in the session guide IIRC. So, nothing to see here.

CUPERTINO, California—May 1, 2007—Apple® today announced that Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, will kick off its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007 at San Francisco’s Moscone West. At WWDC, Apple plans to show developers a feature complete version of Mac OS® X Leopard and give them a beta copy to take home for final testing. Leopard is scheduled to ship in October.
I was right. Scheduled for 2 hours, just like last year.
