Epson today expanded its lineup of 3LCD home entertainment projectors with the addition of the Epson Home Cinema 640. The Home Cinema 640 boasts 3,200 lumens of color brightness, and 3,200 lumens of white brightness for vibrant image quality. The affordable 3LCD projector displays images up to 300-inches -- 25 times the area of a 60-inch flat panel. In addition, the Home Cinema 640 also features built-in sound, wide connectivity options, and setup tools for instant setup.
The Home Cinema 640 allows users to view content from a range of devices, including a cable or satellite box, Blu-ray player, gaming console, or streaming device through HDMI. Users can also select from one of four built-in special color modes, optimized to display the best possible quality and color. Additionally, the Home Cinema 640 offers built-in sound, easy setup and installation for flexible placement, with horizontal image correction and Easy-Slide control technology.
The projector supports resolution up to 1400x1050. In Eco mode, the lamp is projected to live up to 6,000 hours, according to Epson. The screen size ranges from 30 to 300 inches diagonal. Inputs are a single HDMI port, one S-Video port, a composite video input, and a VGA port. Audio is provided by a single 2W speaker.

Home Cinema 640 retails for $360, and is available now. The projector comes with Epson's service and support, including a two-year limited warranty with toll-free access to Epson's PrivateLine priority technical support, and 90-day limited lamp warranty.
