I'm a new Mac user and I want to know if I can view folders with thumbnails instead of file names. I use powerpoint alot and insert pictures. I know I can use the preview pane and scroll through the pics but I'd like to be able to see more of them at once...is this possible? I don't see where I can change the "view" setting like I could on my PC.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, the only way I know of to show thumbnails in the Finder is to use its search bar to search by file type (.jpg for example), to click to show all images and then to click the save button to save the search.

If you are using Powerpoint for Mac, can't you use the media inspector panel (or whatever it may be called) and it makes a thumbnail for all your media?
