How can we razz the (lack of) copy editors for the NacMM.com site? The typos and careless butchering of grammar, names, etc. is an embarrassment.

Are they in THAT much of a hurry to beat someone else to press with these breaking stories that they have NO time for QA?

[ Sorry, maybe I'm just too obsessive? ]

Yeah, I cracked up, too, when I saw "Nillenium" in today's MacNN news. If "content is king", then the Princess of Darkness must distract the hamsters a bunch.

"The Princess" is probably in same predicament.

I remember once, a long time ago, there was a thread about a naughty website which had an address very similar to macnn.

However the thread was edited and locked so I never got to see what the fuss was.

When I read this thread I was hoping NacMM would be it, but :sigh: it was not

I started a thread about this also a year ago because I saw all these stupid spelling errors. AND I am a really bad speller so if I see a mistake it isn't good.

MacNN provides some really good service in compiling all the news that it does.

I do think that the apparent pride they take in their general appearance (witness the recent make-over) deserves an equal pride in the editing of content.

I would not call that "obsessive."

Umm... Not so much!

I believe Gopi was (gently) lamenting that they are NOT showing much pride in the (lack of) editing.

MacNN has violated the spelling of the DMCA and will be jailed with the Village People.

I thought MacNN was creating new national corporations. Witness:

"BofA: Apple sees slow Jan sales ...
Banc of America (BOC) Securities analyst Keith Bachman today maintained a "neutral" rating and an $82 price target on Apple, ... "

But (whoda thunk) MacNN is raising my consciousness. Although I *bank* at BOA's bank, securities customers actually *banc* at Banc of America. ...at least that's how Forbes spells it.

Does this mean I be edified by (occasionally) correct MacNN spelling? Whoa! It's like the weather channel hitting it occasionally
