Was expecting this at the event... was I wrong to?

I thought Steve said we'd have it around this time and that most people thought it would come at this event?

Apologies if I'm way off...

4.2 coming in November.

Anybody who was expecting it at this event hasn't been listening - Apple has been saying November for iPad ever since iOS 4 was released.

The most specific timeframe I heard was late fall, which is right in line with their November projection. Didn't expect it at the event at all.

Thanks, I haven't been reading up on the event, following their iOS4 is coming later this year, I remember people on this board expecting it to come in the September event. I've not since visited. Thanks for the confirmation, looking forward to having it! Such a long wait though....

I'm still having trouble adjusting that it's already September; I imagine November will be here before I know it. Or want it.

Ah, sorry - I'd always had the November date in my head, but it wasn't an official announcement:

I certainly wasn’t expecting it to show up before it’s officially fall, but was hoping it’d be a little earlier than that. I almost wish they hadn’t teased it yet. It was hard enough to wait for some of the iOS 4 features I already have, but AirPlay and printing make it even worse.
