I have a copule of old iMac's in our office running on OS9.2 with Outlook Express used for e mail. Unfortunately both of these have reached Outlook's max capacity (about 1.3 gig) and won't download any more e mails unless we delete stuff in Outlook.

I'm debating the move to new Mac's (probably Mac Mini's) and OSX, with Office 2004 and Entourage.... but does Entourage have the same limit?? Does Apples Mail have a limit?? Any other/better email applications (must be able to import our old Outlook Express)?

Apple Mail does not have such a limit and you can import Outlook Express mailboxes easily. (Right now, my Mail folder is 1.4 GB in size.) I don't know about Entourage, I have never used it.

In theory, Entourage 2004 does not have a max capacity in terms of size. It has a limit of about 1 million messages (check out the entourage MVPs site... do a google search).

Entourage v.X used to have a 2 GB limit on overall size... I believe this was bumped in later releases to 4 GB. When you hit this limit... things got ugly... frequently the file got corrupted beyond repair (hope you had a backup!).
