I work in the prepress dept. of a printing company and we have been using the RAMpage RIP for several years now. I have always been very pleased with it. If you have any questions e-mail me at [email protected]
and I would be happy to give some feedback.

thanks for the reply..
we have also been very please with RAMpage. I am loving the trapping, but after using it for a while, I have to say Scitex Full Auto Frames is much better, much more control..oh well..live and learn..

one thing we are running up against, is when we delete a job from the client, it's not removing the job from the RSI Volume. we are specifying to delete all RSI Page Data, but it leaves the job folder as well as all the RIP data, makes for a full server very quick.
do you know if that needs to be deleted manually?
thanks

I work along with Cemetary Man and also am a huge fan of RAMpage. I'm assuming that your problem is that the rsi data is NOT deleting from the server when you delete it from the pagelist. We have not had that problem and would suggest that you call RAMpage tech support (not trying to dodge your question but they have very good support). Also, have you made sure that your client software is at the same level as your RIP sotware?
