The a-holes from MacMice are at it again.

Even on the front page of MacNN, MacMice is flaunting their Red mouse... an obvious ripoff of the (Product)Red program. Sure... they say they'll donate $3 to "The Other Red" charity.

Take a look at "The Other Red" website. Couldn't look more like a fake charity if they tried! And obviously designed by the guy who puts together the MacMice website.

And what's with this statement: "Copyright © 2006 Ukunda Kids School & Orphanage, Ukunda, Kenya - All Rights Reserved." You think some orphanage in Ukunda Africa is going to place that statement front and center on their website??

Even the FAQ does little to help their "cause."

This is as bad, or worse, than the yellow "Support our Troops" car magnets made in China.

My advice - stay away.

Interesting that macmics.com and otherred.com both use FUTUREQUEST.NET web hosting.

Why would a "Charity" from Ukunda, use a webhosting company out of Orlando, that happens to be the ones the only "other red" product manufacturers use?

I know I have seen this pic online somewhere too...

I would stay away from this scam as well until details are provided.

They have had a really bad history so I am not surprised.

Does apple sell their products in the Applestore?

Mentally ill business man.

Not as evil as Nike or Gap, etc, though.
