I bought a bunch of RAM from Crucial before Christmas with the intention of upgrading my 3 Macbooks over the break. That didn't happen and now four months later I'm trying to figure out what chips go with which computer. Crucial now recommends newer products and doesn't list any of these under recommended configurations. Any help matching would be appreciated!
Here's what I have:
MacBook Pro MB990LL/A 2.26 13" (MacBookPro5,5)
MacBook MB467LL/A 2.4 13" (MacBook5,1)
MacBook MB402LL/A 2.1 13" (MacBook4,1)
RAM:
CT51264BC1067.M16FMR 4GB 204-PIN SODIMM 512x64 DDR (2 ea)
CT25664BC1067.M8FD 2GB 204-PIN DDR3 256Mx64 SODIM (2 ea)
CT25664AC667.16FHZ 2GB 200 PIN DDR2 SODIMM 256MX64 (1 ea)
CT25664AC667.M16FH 2GB 200-PIN DDR2 SODIMM 256Mx6 (1 ea)

The first two are two pairs of DDR3-1067, and are equivalent except for the size. The second two are DDR2, and is likely meant to be a pair. The Macbook 4,1 is the only that takes DDR2, so that pair must be meant for that one. How you want to distribute the sizes between the MacBookPro5,5 and MacBook5,1 is up to you.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Wonder why they sent two different part numbers for the 667.

I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Thanks. Got it all installed as suggested (w/ 8GB going to the MBP) and everything is working great.

Two possibilities, the nice and the naughty. The nice is that they're for all intents and purposes equivalent. The naughty is that it's a remnant of an old policy, where matched pairs cost more, so it was standard for retailers to make sure you didn't get two identical parts if you ordered two singles.
