I miss Farrell on SNL. Did anyone catch the first performance of Queens of the Stone Age? They sang "Little Sister", and Will Farrell was on-stage with them doing the cow bell (in full scraggly garb) while they were playing. It was funny and worked great for the song.
I'm trying to find the video for it. My sister is a huge WF fan.

I have never gotten Will Farrell, and have been amazed to find there is actually a fan base out there for him. Hey if Pauly Shore can headline a few movies, then anyone has a shot.

Now that's what I call a high quality TV-snap.

Will Farrell on his original SNL IMO was horrible. His characters were cheesy and got tiresome after the first skit. THE WHOLE CAST during his stint had "looking at the cameraitis". they were all super cheesy and lacked spark. WF was one of the main offenders however all the cast had the same problems. They made me stop watching SNL.
Outside of SNL... his roles and antics were better. His peeing on MTV awards was nice. Old School was perfect for him.

I have to say- for me- I thought he was a dope back then, but the more I see, the funnier he gets. I guess I'm a switcher.

I don't think he's in the Belushi-Eddie Murphy-Phil Hartman level of SNL stars, but then again SNL sucked so bad in his days. He is funnier than I gave him credit for.
The more cowbell thing is getting sadly way way played out.

The cowbell skit and the Harry Caray skit with Jeff Goldblum were my two favorites.
