If someone would like to color it *ahem*Mindfad*ahem*, I will send him/her a link to the Photoshop file.

Colouring would be easy... just fix the levels, make that a darken layer... and put in your colour... if I didn't have touristy things to do I'd be tempted.... though... it is kinda creepy... slash really creepy...

Well, if there were tigers in Texas, or longhorns in Asia, it would be possible.

I will ink the doodle myself in 48 hours. I wouldn't like the results if anyone tries to color it now.

Size is all wrong. It's a Tiger cub there, at best.

Longhorns are pretty big. Maybe thats a full grown longhorn, and a juvenile female tiger.

That is the interesting part. A Tiger cub is able to defeat a Longhorn.

You aren't by chance trying to win this contest are you? :

http://www.activewin.com/awin/commen...ineIndex=28124

"We're looking for nice imagery of a "Tiger" gnawing, chewing, swallowing, mauling, or otherwise disemboweling a "Longhorn" steer (for obvious reasons). Photos, illustrations, whatever - hey, you Mac guys and gals are supposed to be "creative" and "artistic," so how 'bout sending us something we can use to illustrate future Mac OS X vs. Windows Longhorn articles?* It'll take awhile before such articles will appear - it seems Microsoft isn't quite ready , so we have plenty of time. Longhorn is due "sometime in 2006, maybe," while Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is due in "the first half of 2005." With the image illustrating this article, we have a pretty weak starting point - someone's got to have better. What do you win? Nothing less than your very own photo or image credit in a very small font under the image every single time we use it! How can you beat that? So, let the entries flood forth (include the image(s) and the exact name you'd like us to use in your credit online) and we'll share them in a future article. Email the image and your name to MacDailyNews Webmaster . Thanks in advance."

This from the same forum:

"Mac OS 10.0 - $129
Mac OS 10.1 - $20
Mac OS 10.2 - $129
Mac OS 10.3 - $129

Total - $407.00

Mac OS 10.4 - $129

Grand Total - $536.00

Oops, I forgot Mac OS 10.5 which will be competing with Longhorn, another $129, which puts OS X at a mega total of $665.00.

I still say Windows is cheaper and paying a $199 upgrade for the Professional Edition of Longhorn is still worth it."

Wow, are they stupid.

Indeed, and of course most of the sort of people who care about keeping their system software up to date will probably have bought a computer since the OS9 days. I use a relatively old machine (iBook 500) and it shipped with a rebate for 10.1. I've since bought 10.2 and Tiger - nowhere near the hypothetical total if I'd have bought every version.

I wonder how many PCs that were released when 10.0 came out would work with Longhorn without significant upgrading. Are the minimum requirements out yet?
