Everytime I try to run Doom 3 my monitor goes black and says "Out of Range". I've tried running it at different resolutions, and I'm sure my hardware meets the requirements.

Try holding down the command key when you start up the game. A dialog box should pop up which allows you to select a refreshrate. Choose one you know is safe for your display. Starting out with 60Hz is usually safe to try (although that refresh rate gives me headaches).
