I actually had my first in-person meeting with a MacNN-er last week, and I survived quite nicely. It was even kind of fun ... and this person was a Moderator, no less!

And I think I'd really enjoy meeting most of you, actually. The two I'd most like to meet for coffee and conversation are probably Timo and Maxelson. I'd also definitely like to hang out with Cash and SWG for a while, in part to see if their on-line persona is a true reflection of their real life.

I am not sure what your motivations would be with wanting to meet people from here but if you are looking for buddies to hang out with I think you might need to get out more and socialize. Do you really care THAT much about your popularity in here?

I seem to have the reverse experience as you. Seems the more people I meet the less I think like you.

My motivation with meet people on here is simply: I like meeting people. Plus, it would be interesting to see just how they compare to their MacNN persona. You are the one who should get out more.

And if I cared about popularity at all I wouldn't make it clear I am a Christian. I really don't care what people think of me, I do care what people think of my beliefs though.
