While watching ABC Detroit affiliate WXYZ-TV (Ch.7) 6:00pm Evening local news, Tuesday Dec. 27, the Weather Update segment was shown from the "Storm Central" computer room. Behind the Weather reporter, among a long row of PCs and monitors flashing Doeppler radar scans, was a 1st gen (it had a CD tray) blue iMac. The iMac was positioned to the left and behind of the reporter and stood out due to it's distinctive profile! The screen was doing the flicker/scan line phenominon that happen when watching a TV on TV, so I couln't see what the iMac was running. It was visible for about 30 seconds of the weathercast until they went to "bluescreens" for the forecasts.

I see alot of Mac equipment on the local news when they are filming at schools.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.
