I created a Slideshow in iPhoto and someone here instructed me to export it as a .mov, worked great. Now I would like to put the .mov in my iMovie. I tried Import, didn't work.
Am I missing something?
Thanks.

iMovie reads DV format (the reason it imports directly from miniDV cameras)
so, a little legwork. open the clip in Quicktime, and export as DV stream. this will import into iMovie fine.

Huh? iPhoto 3 and higher imports .mov just fine. Just select Import from the File menu and choose the movie.
