I just got a new toy, the Lexar 256MB Jumpdrive (pro, no less), a keyfob-sized beauty of compact flash goodness. Best of all, both Macs and PCs recognize the drive right away.
Now I can stop using whatever Zip drive is handy for my quick file-transporting needs, as this little baby will always be with me on my keychain. But how should I use it to back up crucial files?
First of all, what important files (or libraries, preferences, etc.) might I overlook when backing up my usual docs and such?
Second, is there any slick and fast (and free) way to quickly send the selected files over to the removable device? A standalone app would be nice, but an Applescript-Perl solution would work, wouldn't it?
As always, thanks for the help,
Jacob
