Has anyone used a Windows only program like the stats program SPSS on a Mac using Boot Camp?
I have a friend interested in the Macbook but he needs SPSS and is concerned that it may not run perfectly on the Macbook because Windows is running through boot camp rather than completely on a normal PC Bios. Should this be a problem?
Thanks,
Josh
Edited to reflect ghporter's excellent point.

No problem what-so-ever, once the computer has booted up, Boot Camp has finished its bit, and your MacBook becomes a stylish, bog standard PC

It'll work fine-the software won't have any idea it's not on a PC. Remember that Windows virtualizes the hardware anyway (that's how it manages to run on so many different hardware configurations), so the lack of a PC BIOS won't make any difference. (And it's "Boot Camp," not "Boot Disk." Using a different name confuses me )
