So I put my unibody mac in a sleeve that had a binder clip in it. It scratched the outside of the upper casing/housing around the display. I think to repair, I need a whole new display because the casing is now sold alone which is not worth it.
Does anyone know any cleaning/buffing methods that work well to get these scratches out?
I really doubt that you could buff it out, the texture would be hard to duplicate. Instead, the part you need will eventually be sold online, by someone--either a retailer or on eBay.
