Hello,

I have just bought my first apple computer today. It may or may not be shipped with a power cord so I was wondering what the best way to acquire one is. Can I get a similar power cord at bestbuy or circuit city...or does it have to be the original type. Thanks in advance.

Any typic 3 prong cord. They're used on most monitors and PCs as well

I'd suggest going by any computer repair store or used computer repair shop. I bet they'll give you one for free, being that they're probably the most standardized piece of computer equipment ever to be created.

Seriously, a power cable from an this computer would do just the trick.

What we in the trade refer to, in professional terminology, as a 'kettle cable'
