Finally!
One of the most complete GUI replacement kit ever made ( at least by the XiAP Dev Group) is available for download.
Download link, preview and details are available in my site. click on my sig to get it

[update]
I updated the package to 1.01. Here are the changes:
Some People seemed to have some issues with text colors and list backgrounds. That was changed (list background is now reverted to a classical white).
Also, quite a few users were complaining about being unable to open the apps icons pixadex container. The icons are now in a simple folder.
Finally, I added separated download links for the GUIkit alone (v1.01) and the icons. Everything is available at my site.

Awesome job. A very complete theme as far as I have discovered so far, plus a beautiful iTunes skin, and awesome extras.

I particularly like the icons. Wonderfully consistent design, and clearly a lot of thought put into which icons appear together and where (such as the Finder sidebar).

Loads of App icons too, but just a few missing. Mr Baumann, if you have time...
Appleworks, RealPlayer, iPulse, Dragthing, Delicious Library & Unreal Tournament please!!!

Looks like a nice theme but I'm having an issue with the icons extra, I wanted to try the applications pack but ShapeShifter won't let me use it since the app pack contains no system icons.

Maybe you can bundle the two containers into one file for those of us who only use Shapeshifter for our icon switching needs?

I love it

In my dock the only icons I miss are newsfire and skype

Definitely the most complete package i have come across. Using it [all] this second. Thanks x1000

edit: the adium dock icon seems to display the idle duck when signed off (unless you intended to have it this way). a simple edit of the pref list in the package contents seems sufficient here.

Great theme, congrats to the group who obviously put a lot of effort in what is a very complete theme.

This is great and all, but a huge download for us on dial-up. Please... No comments about dial-up users you LPBs, there are lots of us...

It would be nice if there was a slim version, sans icons/desktops/cursors. Or maybe just sans desktops

Thanks,

R

Loving it. Is there a way to get the iCal icon to stay the same because when I launch it it changes to the default iCal icon.

Other than that missing some apps but I can probably create them myself if I have some time.

The app icontainer is a "Pixadex" container not candybar...
I'm preparing a file with the icons bundled in the guikit and it will be available through the shapeshifter download tab

There are a lot of bugs with these theme. In Mail.app if you have messages sorted by thread, when you click on them they're just white.

Addressbook and some other brushed apps the titles are faded.

In adium when I click on someones name, you cant read it.

OK..
First, these have been tested out before release.. So I don't really think there is a lot of major bugs..
The ones you're reporting (text problems ) will be adressed in a 1.1 update. If they are bothering you too much just wait for the update
Marvelous, about quicktime, that's weird cause I didn't theme the LCD element at all.. :/

While I don't particularly care for the theme, though it is VERY well done, I LOVE the icon collection! The massive collection of app icons is the best I've seen, and for the few apps I use I easily customized a few of the icons to suit my needs.

Thanks for a great theme and icon collection!
