can a website override your font colour prefs? i have a visited & unvisited link colour pref and it seemed to work on every site except lately ebay...it is always blue...anybody know???

Try this in Firefox and see what happens:

Preferences --> General --> Fonts and Colors (button) --> put a checkmark in the box next to Colors (Always Use My) on the lower left portion of the screen

Maybe that will work.

A site can specify custom link colors and the browser will comply but browsers usually have a check box that makes it always use your color preferences.
