Anyone have any suggestions on where to get the replacement rear cover?

Mine has a few dents and scratches, but I am not bothered unless it has affected the function of the device.
You could wait until the 3G model is out and upgrade with the majority

It has been working fine but is now shutting off after a few hours of non use. Upgrading to the new iPhone is not an option.

The back panel was dented on mine as well so I called up Apple to see how much it would cost to repair it, to which they told me was $250. I have been dealing with the dent chassis because $250 for a piece of metal is absurd.
