I made a passport account late last year to use some stuff on bungie.net's site. I never verified my address because it wasn't needed. Now to sign in to MSN messenger, which i just downloaded, i have to verify the email. I still have the verification email, but the link doesn't work and there is nowhere on the MSN site that directs you to a place to verify it.

What a pain in the ass, just to use an IM client. I don't even want to use MSN, i just want to get a login to use in Fire for 1 person that doesn't have AIM or Yahoo. Weak.

Use iChat. MSN does suck, majorly. Get your friend to switch.

I mostly use AIM and Yahoo, occasionally iChat.
To navigate their site I had to use google to search for the right page, which ended up being at passport.net, not a single link to there from msnmessenger site.
I had to send a support email that is obviously common, since my problem was the first of several on a list.

Finally just made a hotmail account. Definately going to get her to switch. What a POS program.
