I am a little curious i have about a week or so life before i get my ibook and i was wondering about the battery life because some people say they get 3-4 hours where as others say they get about 5-6 hours how much of a difference is there between default configurations and customs tweaks performed after purchase?
Are these accurate? That is depending on what processes you are running at the time. If I am the type of person that will be typing up reports, chatting running IRC and if possible maybe isight what do you think my battery life is going to look like? IMHO.
It definitely depends on what you're running. If you're doing a lot of CD burning or DVD watching, the battery gets sucked pretty quickly. If you're just surfing and word processing, you should get fiveish hours of life.
