So, this is what I want to do:

Folder --> Drag image to folder --> Photoshop runs script on image --> done

It seems so obvious, but I'm not finding it via Google.

Thoughts?

With Photoshop Batch actions you can run a set of actions on a whole folder, but it sounds like you want a "watched folder" type of thing... which I don't think photoshop itself can do.
