Anyone have Hein's newest icons from within the last year? I installed Panther from scratch and didn't bother saving them because I assumed I could download them again. Now I find out he's taken all his downloads off line b/c of some company ripping off his icons. The fact they stole them is unexcusable I just wish the mac community didn't suffer because of it. If anyone has them in icontainers or whatnot and could send them to me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Looking for sets like: Other office icons, Panther 1.0, Panther Drives, G5 icon, G5 1.0, G5 2.0, Folder variations, stats, heins hardware 9.0, ect

Feel free to PM me; I can provide upload space if need be.

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks for trying Can anyone else help me out with any of these?

If you dont have the icontainers thats fine. A zip file of the icons will work too.

Good luck with Hein. I recently sent him an email, maybe a month ago, asking for clarification about his icons, as he also promised to make a 'final' set for the aqua-soft community in exchange for our spamming that company that used his icons without authorization. Anyway, no reply from him on any front. And he seemed *bitter* about the whole thing. I wish I could grab his 'statistical icons' and 'kill bill' sets, personally. Good luck. And Hein, if you're reading this, heal the world, brother, peace.

Thanks so much to everyone that has helped. Still looking for the G5 icon sets and especially the one called Other Office. I hate the stock office icons.

You guys have been so helpful! Thanks again!

I might still have the Kill Bill icons. My Pixadex went dead a while a back so I had to delete the whole library in order for it to work. I made a backup copy of me old library though, I have the Kill Bill set in it

email me if anyone wants it caesar2099 at mac.com

Not Hein's, but I think these are great substitutes for the default Office X icons. You can recolor the blue Explorer for Entourage, no problem.
They're in PNG so you'll have to convert to ICNS if you're interested... a task which I've had some trouble performing. Offtopic and newbesque, but if someone can post a simple solution for converting PNG to ICNS I'd be overjoyed.
Here are the icons:

Iconverter, search MacUpdate or Versiontracker for it.

Can someone send me a link of the office and G5 sets? please?

If you want smoother Office icons like that, just get Smoothicons 8

Again, thanks to everyone in helping me rebuilt my collection of Hein's icons. I now have many many sets so if you're looking for specific ones let me know. I'll be glad to help anyone out that is in the same boat I was.

Thank you so much. I haven't been able to get Pixadex working as advertised with PNGs, though ICOs have been fine. Iconverter is a beautiful little app that gets the job done magnificently. :-]

Nice to see a familiar face, er... name. Pretty great forums here, eh?
Drop by Duckie's sometime and witness the madness. Some Mac users posting there, too, and Duckie's set it up bi-platform, to a decent (starting) extent.

I must've been sleeping when this thread was alive. Is there anyone who could help me out with some of Hein's icons.

I'm looking for something of a full system replacement.

I can provide upload space if need be.

PM me if you can help out.

Thanks,
Jason

I have taken a snapshot of my icon folder( only things named Hein) I also have Kill Bill, Statistic, G51.0, Puppet icons, Jules Verne, Coolbox, g52.0. I just need some names. And an inbox capable of managing many mb's

I will see if I can convert the ICO's into MacOSX native icon format.

btw. if you're really keen on Hein I suggest you look through resexcellence.com.

I think its great everyone wants to share his work...
I can't help but think this topic might piss him off a little though.

I miss his work, but I kind just thought that is how it would be.
no more Hein's Icons except for what was left on servers like Resexcellence.

It's like the old saying; What he doesn't know won't hurt him ( or something)

I'm just afraid that he might tell my ISP what i'm up to. And the but a big red ban on my internet. or decrease the speed to 56k

oh wait. I have not uploaded anything yet. d'oh
