The new Shuffle is the first MP3 player to shrink below the size of a Mobiblu
MobiBLU DAH-1500 Review
Compared to the Shuffle, the mobiblu offers:
* twice the volume (inconsequential)
* a screen (kinda important)
* does not play iTunes DRM'd music (but plays your ripped CDs and podcasts)
* tunes FM radio
* voice recording
* 2 GB available (at twice the price)
information sage
Which one do you like most?

cute, but I have to say the Shuffle's clip matters a lot, considering what I use it for. That and the fact that at this size/price, allI want is something that plays music and works nicely with my Mac.
So...Shuffle.

If I can't transfer my music from iTunes to it then it will get no consideration.

If it doesn't work with iTunes, it's dead to me as well.

Agreed with the no cube crowd. Just not a good idea for portable.

Shuffle, cubes are evil...
...they are! Doesn't anyone remember Terrahawks?

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

Actually, there are 2 votes for Mobiblu. If I can make just one see the [OLED] light, my work is done.

From the Article:
Software
The software it comes with is nothing fancy. In fact, it is just Windows 98/ME drivers for universal mass storage with no ripping or burning software included. They were smart in leaving out the software to keep the cost down. Plus there is really no need for another media player, there are already many programs and utilities for free that will rip, burn, organize, and play your music.
That says volumes IMHO. My niece purchased such a player (similar... screen, MP3 playback, etc.) and it was a nightmare getting the thing to work properly. There wasn't any ripping software... so I ended up downloading something which didn't really work.
Hours later... I got it to rip, but it was something like a 5+ step process to get the thing to work and without a solid computer understanding... my niece was lost.
She just purchased an iPod.

Did you ever hear of iTunes? It rips CD flawlessly and effortlessly.
I think you sabotaged her Mobiblu experience.

You still have the issues of having to manually manage the songs on that MP3 player.
I'd hate to do that, especially if I knew how nice it is integrated in iTunes using an iPod.

Shuffle.
Manually managing a MP3 player is a pain. Cubes don't go in pockets well. It's hard to blindly find the right buttons when there's nothing to reference their location from. No clip. HANGS FROM THE NECK?!?! I'll bet that longs very stylish.
