Long story short, our company is in production of a blog to use internally. Although I am not a designer, I was part of a brief given to the UID team for a part of the application and I thought I'd try doing it in my spare time and hopefully courage up to show it to colleagues.

It's the editor/contributor/admin part of a blogging application. I've done this to the best of my knowledge/ability. Please excuse me if this is not the right place to post this. Feedback will be highly appreciated

Image is uploaded here Its a little big as I've squeezed in 4 screenshots.

I think the admin design is less important than the overall blog design, will those tie together?

My limited experience is that the admin / contributor interface matters for people who are meant to contribute and are put off by unfamiliar or confusing interfaces.

A few years ago I installed Drupal with the intent that secretaries would add items to its calendar. This didn't work nearly as well as wordpress with some refinement and a plugin that hooked blog posts into phpicalendar. Interface matters if he expects people internally who aren't bloggers to use it.

Nicely done, it's very clean.

It's clean and therefore makes it easy to follow directions.
I've always found this to be key.
