Has anyone found that freaking software that gets rid of that crappy logarithmic mouse speed in OS X?

For whatever reason little things are REALLY bothering me tonight... and I have gotten so frustrated at this stupid mouse that I've almost switched from my Mac to my windows machine just to get away from it.

I want my mouse to stay at one freaking constant speed... not adjust to how fast I move it... I don't see how anyone would like that... If it is moving fast, I get used to it moving fast and compensate... but then all of a sudden when I compensate it moves really slow.. so I'm constantly waiting for the mouse to get to its location because I am trying to go slow to make up for it going fast which is causing it to go a billion times slower making me wait for it to get there.

It is a pain in the butt.. people have argued its better for smaller mouse-pads, but I use more of my mousepad because I am having to move the physical mouse so far to get the electronic mouse to move a littlebit.

Has anyone found the software to fix this yet? I've been given software that controls the speed at which it goes, but all it does is make it go insanely fast, not a constant speed.

What mouse are you using? There are a number of apps that kill or modify the acceleration curve, and IIRC some 3rd party mice ship with their own drivers.
