I am putting together a little tutorial on how to use my website. I would like to create a small list of topics. When a user clicks a link, then a small quicktime window opens with a brief video.

I would like to do essentially what Apple has done on their ADC Site. I can view the source code, but I am not exactly sure how to employ this myself.

Is this a difficult endeavour? I like this approach better than embedding flash. Is there a tutorial I can read on this somewhere?

I am able to capture video and embed it. But, I wanted to have an img or a link that, when clicked just opened the quicktime player in a new window and alllowed you to play the video.

I was able to accomplish all this by simply copying the source code from Apple's ADC website and changing the actual links to match my files. Works great. Only problem is that I don't truly learn about what all the parameters mean, etc., but I can do a little "reverse engineering" to at least figure some of it out.
