I'm at a loss for words.

The following doesn't show direct death, but it's hard to imagine the person filming it survived. AFAICT, it only exists because it was shot with an app that uploads as it's shooting.

Oh. geez. There is something about watching the last thing that person saw that feels wrong.

Rather disturbing.

My stupid iPhone game: Nesen Probe, it's rather old, annoying and pointless, but it's free.
Was free. Now it's gone. Never to be seen again.
Off to join its brother and sister apps that could not
keep up with the ever updating iOS. RIP Nesen Probe.

Sadly, I think everybody filming everything is a new enough phenomena you needed something like this to happen for the wisdom of your warning to enter the general consciousness.

I'm hoping this is from a webcam. There is camera movement, but it roughly tracks with movement of nearby buildings. That the camera is shaking because what it's mounted to is shaking. Unfortunately, if it was from a webcam, why didn't the footage start right before the explosion?

It appears the magnitude of it, as reported by the Chinese gov't, was slightly underrated.

eBaum was the first source I stumbled on. I was surprised too.

I've never seen an explosion that big on video before that wasn't a nuke.

I'm not sure he's topped that without CGI.
