my computer has decided that it no longer wants to run a few of my favorite applications so i have decided to take on the inane task of reformatting, can anyone let me know how to do an install of 10.2 only, not including os9 (i have no need for it anymore).

Insert Mac OS X 10.2 CD.

Follow prompts to install Mac OS X.

Restart computer when prompted.

Congratulations.

(OS 9 will only be installed if you ask for it. This means either installing it using a Mac OS 9 CD, or installing it using the Software Restore CDs that came with your Macintosh.)
