Well, I was hoping for some more information like:

1) How many infraction points do different misbehaviors trigger ?
Always one ? Or does a major misbehavior trigger like a 5-point infraction ?

2) You said that infractions are valid from a week to eleventy billion years.
Which infractions are valid longer than a week ? Which will never expire ?

3) AFAIU, you get banninated at 30 infraction points, and then unbanninated once your points fall under 30. But this is just a preliminary rule, right ?

1. It's set by infraction type. Right now, the only one set to more than 1 point is "Personal Attacks" at 10 points. Note that a mod can issue a custom infraction, where the mod manually sets the infraction's title, point count, and duration.

2. Right now, all are set to last 10 days. The system allows infractions to be set even to the number of hours. It is possible to set non-expiring infractions, but at this point I doubt we'll use them.

3. Correct.

Is there anyway the "Latest Infraction" box could disappear once the infraction has expired?

The one I had expired but still shows up.

It's messing up my User Control Panel's feng shui

How does one dispute such things considering the [email protected] email is not working?

It is kind of stupid to show expired infractions.

I have a hard time sleeping knowing i have an expired infraction on my record. Do I have higher insurance rates because it's still on my record?

Since only a very high number of infractions would result in being banned from the forums, you'd have plenty of time to dispute it with the issuing mod, or us admins, via private messaging.

I dunno what happened to that email address, but I know it stopped getting forwarded to us long ago.

So if someone was say... unfairly banned, how would they contact an admin, or inquire as to what a possible compromise could be if there is no way to get ahold of an admin?

Well, when he follows me around saying the same old crap again and again it's usually easy to spot him. Are you saying you can't tell it's him?

Why is Kilbey continually allowed to use my full name and personal information? He has been warned by Tooki and other admins MANY MANY MANY times to not do that. I would not care, except I do not have his personal information. If someone could please email me Railroaders full name and home town, I will paypal you $10. It's quite apparent the moderation around here will do nothing to stop Kilbey from using my name and information, so I would like his to use also.

Thanks!

Wow.

For everyone else: I have decided to not respond to anything rob posts from here on out. As long as I know it's him, you can count on me not replying to his posts. I will immeaditaly put him on ignore. But with him changing usernames as often as he does I might slip here and there. Sorry for putting you guys through his crap. Seriously, sorry. This place goes down hill in a heartbeat when this happens.

No, I can't tell everytime after just a couple of posts.
Like I said, you must have a Robdar or something.

Why the heck do you let him get to you everytime ?

Why attack Rail when he is just another victim of Rob's insanity.

Judging by that links it looks like he has succumbed to insanity himself. Not to mention his constant posting of his name and address.

You have to take in within context of what happened over the years. Another difference is, Rail isn't perm banned. Rob is. For good reason. Regardless if he "respects" that reason or not.

I'm definitely not defending Rob, but Rail should really ease down on his stalker-ish behaviours, that's just creepy.

stalker-ish? Meh. I would call that an exaggeration.

You don't like Rail, we get it.

No, and that's also beside the point seeing as I don't like Rob much either, but abusing private information and following him to other boards just to annoy him seems normal to you?

Or should I say that you are just defending him because you like him?

Uhhh... as much as you want to believe it, I did not follow him to that board. I was invited by another member of that board and Rob wasn't a member, as that thread plays out. But don't let the truth get in your way. As usual.

And as Kevin accurately pointed out, it was way too elitist for me.

I am not the guy who photoshopped the picture of a guy's newborn daughter and keeps returning to a forum where I am banned. I am simply tipping rob over the top when after he's been here a few days and no mods have noticed him (even after being reported). It had it's intended effect.

And I am certainly posting no new info as rob has posted it himself over the years.

Gee, I think this thread is part of a degenerate subspace consisting of at least two more threads I've closed …
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
