Does anyone know if or when a FirstClass Client will be out for Mac OS X?
Thanks

Actually, no. I seem to remember, though, pre-MWNY 01 MacCentral reported a Mac OS X compatable version was at least in the works.

Shiiiit, I remember First Class being the most amazing BBS client evar!!! The interface was so Mac-like and amazing...of course, that was about 7-8 years ago...I have no idea what they've done without it now since I don't go on BBS's anymore.

Softarc (makers of First Class) is now Centrinity, and FC is now even more a kick ass tool. With the right hardware, it does Unified Messenging like no other program I have seen. You can still do the good ol' BBS, but add voicemail, voice recognition, check email by phone and all sorts of cool shit.

And FYI, carbon client is in the works, and should be released within the year.

That's great news to hear that FirstClass is being worked on for X! As a teacher my mom needs it to access the regional schoolboard's BBS services so hopefully it'll come out soon! And yes, it is a fantastic BBS client!
