You can now search by someone's login name or public name (some people's are not the same) instead of having to go through the rigmarole of finding out their member number.
Enjoy!

Cool ... thanks!
But: searching by "login name" seems to work ... but searching by "public name" got me zero results every time (I was using my own name as a test).
I assume "public name" = screen name?

Interesting. Apparently public name does not work. I'll remove the option to do that since it's nonfunctional. Possibly an update to the hack will add this functionality.
Oh well.

Okay ... but this could present a problem when searching for someone whose login name is different from their public/screen name, right? I imagine they're few in number, though; I don't recall even having the option of choosing a different screen name.

Yes, it could (i.e. it won't work). They're very few in number, though. I'll take a look at the code and try to get it working though.
And yes, the login name search is very fast indeed.
This is just incorporated into the normal search page, it's not somewhere else.
