As a part of updating SideTrack for the 2005 PowerBooks I need some additional info for the hardware on some models. If you own one of these machines it would be helpful if you could run the Terminal command "ioreg -l" and send the output to me in email at [email protected].

These are the machines I need more info for (all March 2005 models):

- PowerBook G4 1.5 12-inch (PowerBook6,8)
- PowerBook G4 1.67 17-inch (PowerBook5,7)
- Any model of 2005 PowerBooks with international (non-US) keyboards. I'm particularly interested in Japanese and European models.

In the email please include a description of the machine (i.e. which of the above it is). You might also post a note here just to prevent duplication of effort by other forum members.

Thanks for your help, giving me this information now makes sure your model will be supported when SideTrack is updated for the new machines.

Thanks folks, I got most questions answered. The 12" info was particularly helpful. Those machines appear to have a different keyboard in them than what I expected.

Japanese machines are all that's left. Any takers?
