is the Apple Store model the same that the retail pro mac edition 256 MB so it is only for G5 Power Macs ? or maybe you could use it on a MDD PowerMac?, finally, if you can use it on a MDD G4, do you need to change the power supply unit?
Thanks in advance.

The 9800XT is an upgraded version of the retail card, so if the retail card is G5 only then the XT is as well.

My 9800 Pro Mac edition worked in both my '02 Quicksilver and in an MDD G4.

Thanks for your input, but I the 9800 Mac Edition has 128 MB while the Pro Mac Special Edition has 256 MB like the Apple Store ATI card.

I believe that the PRO Mac SE is strictly for the G5.

The retail ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Special Mac Edition (256MB) is G5-only, as is Apple's OEM Radeon 9800XT (not available at retail; only BTO PowerMac G5 configurations). They run at 8x AGP speeds only.
Both these cards, like the Apple/OEM Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB) use an AGP Pro slot connector configuration, thus do not need an extra power molex connector like the regular retail Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition (128MB).
That card (the retail Radeon 9800 Mac Edition) uses a 2x/4x universal AGP connector, and will work in any PowerMac G4 that has an AGP slot, and also works in the G5's AGP Pro slot. In the G5, this card still only runs at 4x AGP speeds, but typically this is not a significant liability.
I have the 256MB Radeon 9800 Pro Special Mac Edition in my DP2.0GHz G5, and its a very nice card indeed. Only a hair faster in current games than the 128MB non-Special Edition version, but I bought it because it supports two digital displays, unlike the retail non-Special Edition which has only one DVI (plus one analog VGA) output. When games come out that can take advantage of all the extra VRAM (Doom 3 comes to mind), the card will really shine.
