Hi,

I'm importing 30 minute long episodes of 'Kid Notorious' from my Tivo (via a Dazzle DV bridge) into iMovie 4.0.1

iMovie by default creates clips that are 9 minutes long which I edit to remove the commercials.

Once I line the four or so clips up on the movie timeline I get a complete episode which plays back smoothly.

Is there anyway to combine the clips into a single ~30 minute video clip? My ultimate goal is to create a DVD using iDVD with 4 individual episodes on it, selectable from the main menu.

The 9 minute limitation (due to a 2 GB file size limit) is gone in iMovie 5, which you get as part of iLife '05. I think it's a worthwhile upgrade.
