After reading a positive user review at Newegg from a G5 owner for this 2x512 kit from Corsair, I took a roll of the dice and purchased two.
Just snapped them into my G5, ran a Q3 timedemo and Xbench and they appear to be fine, although the extended hardware test from the oem CD has yet to be done.
Awesome price at $80 a kit, I bought them on sale for $77 a kit with $1.98 Fedex Express Saver shipping.

Imagine: $155 for two Gigabytes of ram shipped

I added two of the 1 gig Corsairs they had to my PowerMac G5 and 1 to my iMac G5. Been working just great for the last month. Heck of a price, good ram.
