I have to agree here. Much of the allure of Japanese models is their childlike appearance. It pervades Japanese culture-women are supposed to look like little girls. That bothers me, not only when I see pictures set up to make women look like girls, but also just knowing that the whole Japanese culture puts up with exhibiting women throughout the culture as substitutes for little girls. It's just creepy.
I have nothing against Japanese models, just the way they often seem to be portrayed.

When you go to a manga store, I bet half of the hentai they sell there would be forbidden in Germany/USA. But you're right.
One other thing: although the guys look older, they often behave like children as well. In addition to that, Japanese/Asian girls often look younger than they actually are.
