In the new '3' mobie phone advert for video-mobie phones, the final scene has a man at work with his wife telling him to come home. He slams his powerbook 15" shut but you can see the lid spring back open in the final shot!

Well it's not designed to be slammed. If it's closed at normal speed, the latch will catch.

PC's are constructed that you can slam them when you get frustrated after the xx-time crash. Powerbooks however you treasure and care mroe than you partner: so slamming is the last thing on your mind.

Maybe the first 20 times it pops back open... then... SLAM!
