No, you can only install 1 CPU in a B&W.
Set one drive for master and the other for slave (with the jumpers on the back of the drive) and plug them in on the same IDE cable.

You'd need to get the motherboard from a dual G4 (which they don't make any more, so used only). Might as well use the dual G4 as it is.

I think that's a waste of time and money. You're better off just keeping it in tact as a dual G4 and dump the G3.
eBay is your best bet for parts and used computers. Maybe a local Craigslist.

FWIW, the G3/PPC750 processor line was planned as a feature-stripped hardware down from the pro stuff PPC604/e. It lacks features like multi-processoring. (That the G3 turned out to be far more powerful than planned, is another story)

yes it may be a waste of money but its also somthing i would enjoy, such as a hobby.....

Take the G3 plastic case panels and swap them onto a g4 case. depending on the g4 version almost no midifications would be nessecary.

XLR8 (who are now out of business) once made a dual G4 upgrade for G3s, so if you can get one of them on eBay then you could do it.
