I have a simple question. I have a Mac Mini that keeps waking up in the middle of the night (it is in my bedroom connected to an EyeTV and serves simply as a TV/DVR - no other stuff running on it, not connected to internet), and I have no idea what causes it to wake.

Is there a log file that I can look at that will have a record of why it randomly wakes? If so, can someone tell me where to find it and what to look for in the file.

I am running OS 10.5.7 (Leopard) on the machine.

Thank you,

O
B unce!

Open Console and look at "All Messages"

Most likely it's EyeTV trying to update the guide. EyeTV wakes up my mini around 4pm to update but the time varies.
