New study, er online survey shows psychopaths prefer rap music over other genres, along with financial newspapers.
More than three million people have responded so far, and while online surveys have serious weaknesses, the results so far suggest psychopaths favor rap music over classical and jazz. They also seem more likely to read the Financial Times than other newspapers.
This also implies they prefer printed newspapers to internet sources. Whew, we're all safe here.

That's awesome, it's about time. I wonder when they'll start letting them keep their clitorises?

That's not Saudi Arabia, I think, at least not commonly. It is an East African (think Sudan, Somalia) "custom" mostly.

It's not so prevalent in Saudi Arabia, apparently, but it does happen:

I've lost track of how many bomb threats there have been at our schools this year. Sometimes twice a day.
Someone has let their email bot run amuck.

It's beyond someone wanting to miss the big test. This is coming from emails bounced via servers and VPN and spoofing. It's a hacker challenge.
They caught some israeli kid last year who was offering similar services on the black net for $30/email.
It's stressing everyone out, with lockdowns, emails, text alerts, shelter in place, people keeping their kids home wackiness.

It is. From the Wiki article:
Female genital mutilation is present in Saudi Arabia.[25][47] FGM is most prevalent in Saudi regions following Shafi'i school within the Sunni sect of Islam, such as Hejaz, Tihamah and Asir.[176][177][178] In a clinical study, Alsibiani and Rouzi provide evidence of the practice in Saudi Arabia.[179] Another 2010 report claims post-FGM medical complications are an indicator of widespread prevalence of the practice in Saudi women.[180] A 2012 study finds, that of the Saudi women who had FGM, Type III was more common than Type I or II.[181]
It's pretty damned terrible too.

Wow, Saudi women:
Have to be 30 to drive,
can't drive at night,
must still cover their heads/faces,
must be married,
must have her husband's permission,
can't leave their home town/city,
their husband most post a bond of 2mil Riyal (~$520k)
and they can't drive alone.
I have a feeling there won't be many Saudi women driving and this is largely a token gesture.

Most racism comes from the Left these days, you mean.

Most? Hardly. And that is prime candidate for not only the dumbest thing you've ever said but the dumbest thing anyone ever said.
There are some OTT lefties who have as you say, blown it out of proportions, but they still aren't responsible for anything like the worst of it. In case you weren't aware, and you don't appear to be, saying dumb things like "minorities can't be racist" scores orders of magnitude fewer racist points than participating in armed marches holding torches, running cars into crowds, lynchings and shooting unarmed citizens for (at worst) being disobedient or disrespectful.

Yes, it's very fashionable to use white racial slurs right now, esp on social media platforms, and since those platforms don't treat it with the same urgency as they do with minority slurs, it feels like they condone it. Personally I think of it like, "whatever, they're obviously not right in the head, they're just feeding off the Left's outrage machine", but it does start to get a little disconcerting after a while.

Take a step back from Twitter, it's not healthy to obsess about the idiocy of the vocal minority.

If all of society was drunk, it would be like Twitter (really ALL large social media platforms with anonymity are like that). You get to find out what people think with the veneer of politeness stripped away. That has value, but at the same time you can't take it very seriously most of the time. I do draw the line at death threats, those are beyond the pale and should be reported immediately.

I'm not getting it. Why is a watermelon racially offensive, and cause for firing? At first I thought he was a health-food nut, who brought in something healthy instead of cake donuts. Kind of like those insensitive relatives who give fruitcakes.
If we're going to declare a healthy food offensive, can we at least do it against a disgusting one? Peas, spinach, broccoli. Watermelon tastes good on a hot day.

A delicious summer treat to make fellow firehouse mates happy turns into a racist attack? It must be 2017.

Finland is celebrating the centennial of its independence from Russia this year, and local game developers have come up with their own way of celebrating that. They have made a game for the NES - sold on a physical cartridge - that includes three minigames: One of going down to the hotdog stand to have a drunken fight, one about shooting Russians at the border with the Zapper, and one about a seal with laser eyes (no details about the plot available).

It is usually the brown bear. I guess that that doesn't work all that well with the theme of shooting Russians. A quick google shows that Finland has the last remaining population of some highly endangered seal that I have never heard of. Probably the reason.

Where is it? I'll give you three guesses, and the first two that aren't Japan don't count.
Grape-kun's lady friend dumped him for another penguin, and Grape-kun got very depressed. The zoo got him a 2D mate who he much preferred to that 3D hussy, however, along the way, he himself lost an entire dimension.

Some local random weirdness... guy pushed a total stranger onto the tracks in the subway, and then tried to block him from climbing back up on the platform. Bystanders ultimately intervened.
All on camera, guy's behind bars. I'd post a link, but there's no information other than he just got a Phd from Northwestern.

I assume he's fixing the glass from the 2nd story break-in? Because they only added bars to the 1st story, even though there's a ledge?
btw, pretty confident owner. It must be the owner, a contractor would need a safety strap or something. Don't lean back.
