Starship Troopers 2: Straight to video.

When I heard about it I knew the story line was just an excuse to make it low budget and not have to use the cool bugs. They turned it into a typical predictable gory horror movie. Awful as hell.

Oh puurlease... ...you've all been listing Oscar winners compared to:

The Owl.

Like a bad Segal movie, but without the charisma. Or the plot. Or the action.

I think I saw one of the worst last night... The Stepford wives.

Holy moly was that a stinker. Not funny, not scary. Just stupid.

They kept calling them "robots" and they could scan bankcards with their mouths, cough up money, not feel pain, have sparks come out of their heads and boobs grow on command BUT they were real people with only chips implanted into their heads. What up with that?

I can't believe "Freddie Got Fingered" was only mentioned twice in 5 pages! That is truly the worst movie I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I never stop watching movies in the middle, so I've seen the whole thing.

For a movie that hasn't been named yet, I'll say "Straight Outta Brooklyn." It was critically acclaimed, but those critics were obviously being bribed or blackmailed. Dishonorable mention goes to "Masters of the Universe" and "Captain America."

For most overrated movie, I'd like to second "Cast Away" (ugh) and add "Forrest Gump" (a supreme disappointment after all that undeserved hype).

I thought it was bad also, they turned a good/cheesy action movie into a cheap, predictable horror movie. It was bad but definitely not the worst movie ever.

I haven't read all 5 pages of this (I know, I know...), but has anyone mentioned "Cutting Class?" I think it was Brad Pitt's first movie. Hilarious in its awfulness.

Aliens Vs. Predator

This movie is insulting to the Aliens and Predator saga.

Everything about this movie feels like it was written by a colective effort of teenagers over the internet.

Quite possibly the most predictable movie I have ever seen as I figured the whole thing out by the trailers.

This movie does not take into account what was set up in the previous Alien and Predator films. Facehuggers now attach to your face only to separate 5 minutes later. Another 5 minutes after that you have an alien bursting out of your chest. In previous films Predators would only attack humans who have weapons, now they don't seem to care.

There is also a rather poor and uncreative attempt of tying the Alien movies with the old ones with the corporation and the Biship Android.

The only good thing I can say about it is that the special effects were rather well done.

The real warning sign should be when the director also wrote the damn thing.

I watched this with a friend. I insisted to stop watching when Lance Henriksen died. How did it end? Did the woman survive? Was there a woman?

BTW, I consider Lance Henriksen - although he might have been in half of the movies mentioned here - as one of the most underrated actors.

Worst movie ever? The ending maybe didn't payoff like it should, but seeing Marky Mark's insides fill up with green pus was worth the price of admission alone.

Recent stinkers I've rented:

Envy, with Ben Stiller and Jack Black. Man, I couldn't even make it through an hour and I LOVE Jack Black. What an utter failure.

The Forgotten, with Julianne Moore. If you liked the X-Files, but thought it was too smart, and you like melodramatic Oprah moments about how mothers are "connected" to their children, this is your movie. It sure as hell wasn't mine. 9/10 on the Crap-O-Meter.

That really seems to be a love or hate movie, I really liked it but half my friends HATE it, the other half like it. I guess it is just the xfiles crew that is down with it.

Final Countdown

"The USS Nimitz, a modern-day nuclear-powered aircraft carrier passes through a time warp and finds itself at Pearl Harbor on December 6, 1941. Should the carrier prevent the japanese attack at the risk of changing history as we know it?"

Damn that's a bad movie!
