Does anyone know if there is an OSX application that enables
password entry on windows zip files that are password protected.

have you tried stuff it? It might allow you to open it. Check versiontracker.com for stuffit.

I think Stuffit Expander can deal with password protected zips, I'm fairly sure I've encountered them before. BOMArchiveHelper really should be able to do that!
