It's not available yet, but 3D Realms says that it will be "when it's done."
But which version of Duke Nukem Forever should I get? I figure that the Nintendo 64 version will look better than PlayStation version, but I fear that the limited space of the cartridge format will mean a cut game. The PlayStation's spacious 650-megabytes-per-CD-ROM should ensure the complete game, but it also means long loading times. And sure, the Windows version will probably be, by far, the best looking version, but those Voodoo 2 cards are expensive.
I am not considering the Sega Saturn version of Duke Nukem Forever because I don't own a Saturn. Maybe I'll buy one when Sonic X-treme is released. That game looks promising.

More like Duke Nukem is taking forever.
Unless the game ends up being Jesus himself I don't see how 3DR will not end up being a laughingstock forever.

Post in the wrong forum much?
This belongs in the Boneyard, where it will be discovered around the same time DNF comes out.

BTW, I was asking for the proof level of the liquid that he had obviously been drinking.

Did this have to be moved from the Lounge to the Gaming forum?
Yes, this thread is about a game, but it's a humor thread, and part of the joke is lost when it can't be seen near the thread that it mocks.

I dont get why they get mocked for this game. They never gave any indication as to when it'd be available.

- Every Massive Multiplayer Online game and expansion with the exception of Meridian 59.
- Every Dance Dance Revolution and Bemani rhythm game
- Every Pokemon game released outside of Japan.
- Every Unreal, every Unreal Tournament, and every game that has used any of the Unreal engines.
- Quake 2, 3, 4, and countless games that have used their engines.
- Every Tony Hawk and extreme sport spin-off game.
- Aside from Wolfenstein 3D, every single First Person Shooter based during World War II, including the entire Medal of Honor series.
- All three Star Wars prequels.
- The entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, with extended editions.
- Every Pixar movie aside from Toy Story.
- Britney Spears' entire musical career as a pop star has taken place during Duke Nukem Forever's development.
- Stephen King has written 16 novels.
- The two Mars rovers, Spirit and Opportunity were proposed, authorized, announced, designed, launched and successfully landed upon Mars where they have been exploring the surface for over 2.5 years.
- NASA's Deep Impact program also went full circle.
- The International Space Station was assembled and has been orbiting Earth for over 8 years.
- Every GeForce and Radeon graphics card.
- Steve Jobs was still running NeXT when Duke Nukem Forever was announced.
- In 1997, Apple was taking preorders for Mac OS 8 and had an uncertain financial future.
