I needed to scan more than 500 italian DVDs unavailable in the Amazon store, so I tricked DL to think that amazon.ca was in reality my own computer (localhost). Every time I scan a DVD the call is redirected to a script on my Mac that fetches DVD information from an italian website instead of the Amazon store. The same can be done with virtually any website.

Here's how I did it How to make Delicious Library 2 import items from virtually any website

please note that it's just a proof of concept. The script works for me but it surely needs to be rewritten to meet your needs. Anyway I think you can use it as a starting point.

Good stuff

This begs the questions: how hard would it have been for Wil to just allow in the preferences to enter your favorite Amazon Store URL.

And it will probably take him 3 years to implement.

I'll say it again, the Pedias have had this functionality for quite some time.

LD, just go away already.. if you hate DL so much then why are you here? You pop into every thread with unhelpful comments about 'the pedias'. Most of us are here about DL, and our experience with that program, not the pedias. It's a support & discussion forum, not a slag it off at every opportunity forum! You were wrong about it never shipping, and somehow I don't think that anyone holds your judgement in the highest regard.
