anyone using this printer in 10.2.2?
i use to be able to print to my windows shared printer but cant anymore. i use to use pcl-2 drivers to print but now i cant seem to find it.
i use to print via Appletalk & print via SMB when on wireless.
i tried different version of gimp-print but to no avail. read all the how-to to setup printing but it dont work for me.
when printing via appletalk, it does print but 1st 2 lines are garbage. when printing via SMB, i get the msg unable to connect to the SMB host.
on my server that has the printer i have all the necessary services running.
dont know why i use to be able to print & now cant print anymore. i guess the saying, "if it isnt broken, dont touch it" or something like that.
wondering if i should just get a network print server & print via IP addy isntead....
