Okay, so I recently upgraded to 10.6. I was using 10.4, no problems. For my work, I use a Wacom Cintiq 12x drawing screen, and Sketchbook 2010. Both worked fine under 10.4. I upgraded to 10.6, and installed the latest drivers from wacom.

It works fine, but it TOTALLY IGNORES MY INPUT, intermittently. If I'm doing sketching, it will just NOT SEE that I am pressing on the screen sometimes. Once i touch the pen to the screen, I can scribble all over, at any pressure, and nothing happens. If I let up and try again, sometimes it will work. It's very inconsistent. When using photoshop, or any other program, things are totally fine.

Thoughts?

This is a HUGE problem for me. Anybody? I am going to sell my iMac or revert to 10.4 if I can't figure this out. Why would 10.6 cause such a huge problem for this?

Well, those updates solved the intermittent problems, but it still runs like total shit. I don't get it. How can a program run FINE on 10.5, but run like total shit on 10.6? I was not aware there was a massive difference between the OS's.

Anyway, even drawing/erasing uses 75-90% of my C2D's cores, and it's a 24" iMac with a 2.16ghz C2D. I do not get this shit at all.
